April was a hectic one, more new hires, companywide training, beginning of  Q2, spring, 43 more democrats announcing their candidacy for president, multiple major holidays, tax day, multiple office outings, Jerry probably did some crazy stuff ( we will see later in “Where’s Jerry"), Tucker, AMS, Just typing this to take up space, Game of Thrones started, Avengers Endgame, Man City beat Tottenham Hotspurs twice ( I was sad. Lilly whites forever!), Coachella, Stagecoach,  I could keep going but the rest of the newsletter is already huge, happy reading!

We just can’t stop the growth! A big reason for this is HABU- Highest And Best Use, we give our family the tools and support they need to be their best. It’s no wonder everyone wants to join the family!

Christina Hernandez did a thing, she was nominated for Insurance woman of the year! We know how awesome all of our family members are, it’s amazing to see the rest of the world recognize the as well! I’ll let Christina tell you about it!

"San Diego is home to the largest I-Day event put on by the IIAB. During the luncheon they present local industry awards including the Insurance Women of the Year award; to which I was one of 3 nominees selected this year! There is a committee of 5 established insurance professionals who are located outside San Diego County and are charged with reviewing the nominations and selecting a recipient. Despite not being named as the award recipient, it was still a huge honor to be nominated for this award!

PS. I did actually win an award last month at the IAIP Western Regional Conference; it was their Young/New Professional award. I had won it at our local IAIP level so I moved on to Regionals and since I won that level I’m now moving on to compete at the International Conference in June! Wish me luck! 😊" -Christina

Anniversaries are always an exciting thing to announce. It feels good to celebrate our teams commitment to eachother.  These three family members show us how it’s done! They not only embody the Liberty Culture but they also I have a more important thing in common. They all think Britany Spears sophomore album is her best. I couldn’t agree more!
Mike Bault- 5 Years
Carrie Laspe - 5 Years

I missed it last month because I am tacky, sorry about that!- Kip

It is hard to believe it has been 5 years!  4 ½ years went by quickly with Integra!  The last 6 months at Liberty have gone even faster as we settle in and learn the ropes!  Thanks for welcoming us and I look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and get to know everyone!

Elizabeth De La Fuente- 1 Year
I want to thank everyone at the Liberty Company for all your love and support through this year!  I couldn’t ask for a better place to work! An amazing family who truly cares about what they do and those they work with. Thank  you! 😘💋

The OC office and Underwriters from Travelers divided into two teams and faced off in an epic escape room challenge! My team most definitely won, which may or may not be true, but we did seem to be firing on all cylinders as a team.  Really we all won and grew stronger as an office because of it!

The San Jose office entered a Bocce Ball tournament! The office was split into 3 groups who ended up dueling in a few rounds. Roger, Barbara, Jay and Michelle triumphed as the Liberty leaders – but when it came to the roll-off for the semi-finals, they were short. Good try y’all! #HABU

Next year I want in on this tournament, throwing larger balls at smaller balls is most def in my #HABU wheel house! Don’t be scared I am a very gracious champion!

Spring is upon us and what better way to celebrate than to look for eggs. Eggs symbolize rebirth and germinating life, spring is the time of year to reinvent, find your #HABU. If you have not noticed yet I am GOING to make #HABU a thing, unlike “fetch” it will catch on!

The LA office had an egg hunt where the office looked for hidden plastic eggs to receive the glory of a special prize inside

San Jose egg hunt- Thanks to everyone who energetically participated in this morning’s egg hunt! It was awesome to see everyone (who was able to be here) literally run around in search of eggs… especially those extra special eggs. Congratulations to Johanna and Barbara for locating the gift card eggs. An extra congrats to Johanna for finding the golden egg and winning the half day of PTO! – Michelle Cassidy

It was Kalena’s birthday and the OC does what they do best, in honor of #HABU, they partied! Happy Birthday to Kalena and all our other family members that celebrated in April!

The Novato office, among all of our other offices, went through intensive training on our new WrokSmart platform. They also had their book of business transferred from TAM to AMS and had to train on that system as well. After two weeks learning the ropes, they had a potluck to say thank you to their trainer. Here are the pictures to commemorate. Notice, I was not invited, not cool!

“Minglin’ With Monica” We have done it again, Monica's have Mingled and you all can't wait, and you don’t have to!!!

How do you think Game of Thrones will end?

Monica Gomez-

Glad I survived last night’s episode.  I had to apologize to my neighbors for getting so loud and had to explain how my blood pressure had skyrocketed because the episode was so intense.  I ended up receiving a text from my neighbor last night with Bustle’s article, “8 Meditations To Help You Calm Down After The Battle of Winterfell”.

Don’t worry no spoilers.  Last night’s episode leads into, I am sure, a less dramatic battle against Cersei and her new boyfriend, Uncle Creepy, I mean Greyjoy.  My theory is that Yara, will take her island back, sail back to Kings Landing, and kill her uncle.   The North and all its surviving WARRIORS will head to Kings Landing and the battle will ensue.  Now that all the fighters of the North have a stronger bond, they will most definitely have each other’s back more than ever.  In this battle, Cersei will have some involvement in Sir Brienne’s death (Jaimie’s new BFF), leading Jaimie to further realize his role as the Mad King Killer, but in this case, Queen.  Jaimie will strangler his sister as the witch predicted years earlier to Cersei, that she would die at the hands of her own blood, and then kill himself.  The Hound will battle his cyborg brother, The Mountain, and will die in this battle, but not before he kills The Mountain.  Danaerys will ultimately win this battle but being humbled by the Battle of Winterfell, she will step aside and name Jon the King of the Seven Kingdoms.  Jon, not wanting that responsibility, since he’s never wanted to be king, will allow all kingdoms to have a ruler and equal power.  All kingdoms will run like the European Union.  Jon and Dani will ignore the fact that they are related and will continue to date.  And…ARYA WILL CONTINUE TO BE A BADASS.  The End!

Does Christine Approve? Well I know the answer, and you will soon. Remember hit us up and ask all the questions you need answers to.
